Takemichi Hanagaki is a little burnt out. He has not been doing well in his part-time job and has fallen victim to the bullying of the neighborhood delinquents. While watching television one day, he finds out that the girl he used to date was killed along with her brother by a criminal gang. On his way home, he is pushed onto the track and in the path of an oncoming train. When he regains consciousness, he realized that he has traveled 12 years back to the past.
